Bob Henley Art Prints

Wildlife enthusiast and conservationist artist Bob Henley strives to convey through his works his dedication to nature and all of its creatures. Born in 1941, Henley began painting full time after leaving a lucrative career with the Norfolk and Western Railway. A self-taught painter, Henley felt restless at his desk job and felt something important was missing from his life. He wanted to get closer to nature and paint the creatures of field, mountain and forest in their natural habitat. Henley chooses to paint in oils, a medium that allows him to capture the rich colors and muted tones of the natural world. Looking at Henley paintings you see not only what he was seeing, but what he was feeling as well. His canvases are filled with accuracy, detail and beauty.
