Gretchen Huber Warren Wall Art

Gretchen Huber Warren (Born 1963) was born in Hartford, Connecticut. She’s known for desert landscape, illustration and genre. Warren graduated in 1985from the College of Visual and Performance Arts, at Syracuse University. Many of her paintings are landscapes of the High Sonoran Desert. She pursued a career as an illustrator creating freelance illustrations and book covers for "Readers Digest" and other leading magazines. She works in oil on canvas and her art is intended to convey beauty with light effects, vibrant colors, and crisp clarity of form and line to show real time and place. She has been exhibiting her artwork for over 20 years. Her paintings in oil on canvas show the results of her ability to tell a story from her viewpoint. Due to the high quality of her work, she was approached by galleries requesting to show her work, she decided to focus on fine art painting in the oil medium.

In the course of her work, she has sold more than 1000 works to corporations and collectors worldwide. On top of the gallery exhibitions, the artist is currently licensing her images for various products from several companies. Her painting style has several distinguishing features which make her art to stand out among the works of other artists. Her favorite challenge is to capture the feeling and image of a scene whether it is an old gas station or a bucket of flowers. All of her works are characterized by her fondness for and familiarity with her subjects, and they suggest a sense of well being.
