Laura Jane Paustenbaugh "Being a resourceful and frugal person that likes to make new things from old discarded items, I went to work assembling snippets of my fabrics to construct colorful images. I started simply with Christmas trees, which led me to experiment with different motifs. The finished results were always fun, colorful and the possibilities endless". Laura studied art in high school and continued her education at Utah State University. She has taught art in Utah to children at the Visual Art Institute for 9 years. "I really never stopped exploring the visual arts, but now that my 3 children are not children anymore, I love creating and hope to make things that people will enjoy and love to look at".
