Kerstin Arnold Wall Art

Kerstin Arnold (Born 1964) produces very impressive paintings. She was born in Chemnitz and has loved art for as long as she can remember. Even during her school years, art was her favorite subject and art classes were her favorite classes. She attended art courses as a sideline and immediately she graduated from school, she decided to take a preparatory course for a degree course in art. She had been refused entry into the degree course for socio-political reasons. She, therefore, sought training was closer to art studies and this was the profession of technical draughtswoman. The artist indeed refrains from depicting any burnt-out soldiers or junkies in her works and instead depicts well-figured young women who slip well into a role just like actresses fit on a theatre stage.

For more than a decade, she has taken part in various individual and group exhibitions both inside and outside Germany, and has been working as a freelance artist. She has exhibited at Congress Centre Zurich, HARBOUR.CLUB, Cologne, FORMAT X – KÖLNER LISTE, Agora Gallery – Chelsea, New York, Music and Congress Centre, Lübeck, and Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art in Kobe, Japan, to name just a few. Her art is published by renowned publishers of art prints and a number of private and public collections have made purchases of her art. She moved to Saarbrücken in the Federal Republic of Germany in 1989 and this is where she currently lives and works. Societal and political issues aside, her art remain astonishingly attractive and positive.
