Jeffrey Beauchamp Wall Art

Jeffrey Beauchamp (Born in 1964) is an American fine art artist. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey but he currently lives and works in Fairfax California. As a kid, he was encouraged to cultivate and use his imaginations, though when he reached adulthood the pressures of everyday existence have tended to hone his more practical survival skills. As an artist and an art teacher, he strives to always stay creative in all that he does. His paintings have brushstrokes of color and enthusiastic marks that finally ends in recognizable landscape. With his works as if he’s daydreaming taking the form of narrowing his eyes into the painty distance, the style of "magic eye", and feeling the possibilities of visual adventure and depth in there. The results have a new charm and vigor that he thinks bear up under longer scrutiny, the layers of knife and brush work that are suggestive emerging slowly from the stormy surfaces.

He says that it is that balance between the deep illusionary space and paint itself that is more uncertain in his pieces, more interesting and conflicting than in most of his earlier works. Beauchamp received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. He began with his exhibitions in the early 1990s and has exhibited at Madrone Art Bar, San Francisco, McLoughlin Gallery, San Francisco, Susan Cummins Gallery in Mill Valley, Dolby Chadwick Gallery, San Francisco, Diego Rivera Gallery, San Francisco, Gearbox Gallery, Oakland, Seager Gray Gallery, Mill Valley, Dolby Chadwick Gallery, San Francisco, etc.
