Dean Bradshaw Wall Art

Dean Bradshaw (Born in 1953) was born and grew up in Santa Monica, California. From an early age, he fell in love with nature. He spent every moment he could to observe the intricacies of nature’s form and light. By the time he was in grade school, Bradshaw was translating his experiences in nature to canvas and paper. He won many awards at art in high school, and eventually a scholarship to the Art Center Institute in Los Angeles. Bradshaw spent several years in southern France as an adult. This is where he submersed himself into the local culture and painted several pieces of art. While there he also gained an appreciation for the period furniture and decorative arts. Upon his return to the United States, he had a rare opportunity to study fabrication and furniture design from Andre Liardet the world renowned artist whose studio was in Beverly Hills, California.

Later, Bradshaw started his own business in 1976 where his painted and carved works can be found among stars, royalty and prominent business people around the globe. In 2006, Bradshaw decided to dedicate his talents to painting full time. Where he lives, Bradshaw finds himself surrounded by some of the most stunning subject matter for which any artist could dream of. His use of both the palette knife and the brush renders this visual wonderland into gripping landscapes. He says that it makes the work very textural and it keeps him from focusing too much on detail to make the final piece look simple.
