Anna Kincaide Wall Art

Anna Kincaide holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida State University. Her art is almost exclusively figurative. As one viewer observes, there's something seductive and real in her art that makes the viewers stop and admire what she's captured. The viewers get hooked the minute they see the first piece. She focuses on one subject that allows her the freedom to play with the design and style of her paintings. Her collection of stylized paintings is dedicated to her love of couture fashion and design. Her works depict emotions and experiences common to all viewers. For example, some of her paintings like "Waiting For Nothing" and "I’ve Given It All That I’ve Got" seem to offer a more dark depiction of the relationships formed with the people around us and the society.

She’s had both solo and group exhibitions in places such as Robert Lange Studios, Eisenhauer Gallery, Gardner Colby Gallery, Martha's Vineyard, Stellers Gallery, Anne Irwin Fine Art, Atlanta, Tallahassee Memorial Gala, Lemoyne Annual Holiday Show, Thomasville Center for the Arts, among others. Anna is particularly fond of leaving out the faces of her subjects because she finds that the anonymity allows those who view them to easily attach themselves to the work. She says that it becomes more of a personal experience since each viewer will have his/her interpretation. Each painting teaches her something new and leaves her excited for what is to come. Her style is constantly evolving which is what keeps her in the studio day after day.
