Jessica Durrant has always loved illustrating fashion design. When she was 13, she discovered a show E! that used to broadcast a show called Fashion File. She loved the idea of a collection, so she drew her own ideas for collections. She remembers finding her first Marie Claire at the grocery store that was full of images and thought she had found gold. But she knew she had no interest in becoming a designer or actually sewing, she just loved drawing glamorous women in clothes. She now resides in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She’s a freelance illustrator specializing in the beauty, lifestyle and fashion genres. Jessica now resides in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She’s now a freelance illustrator specializing in the beauty, lifestyle and fashion genres. She has a degree in Art with an emphasis in Illustration.

Jessica also had an interest in Museum studies when she was in school. She even thought about choosing that route instead because it seemed like a place she could earn a steady income from and still be surrounded by art. She really loved working in museums but she put her art on the backburner. She knew if she wanted to ever be a successful artist she would need to practice a lot and she didn’t have the time to do that at that point in her life. However, things changed in 2009 and she became more inspired and had more time to work on her art. Once she started working seriously in art she started getting commissions and freelance work on a regular basis.
