Elo Marc Wall Art

Elo Marc is a collage artist based in San Diego, California. He graduated from City College in 2009 with an AA Degree in Graphic Design. During his college years, he explored the diverse and rich array of mixed media and developed an appreciation for collage. His creative interests began to turn to fine art after his graduation. He was particularly interested in mixed media collage. While he was working on sites such as outfitters website and society6 as a Graphic Designer, his interest in collage continued to grow and by 2009 it became the focus of his life, and in 2010, he made a decision to pursue art making full-time.

His working mediums include illustrations, vectors, colors and retro images. The works are often multi-layered and highly textured with weathered and nostalgic quality. Marc’s working methods also extend to digital collage with a very realistic and gritty display of layering and texture. His work can often be vibrant with color. His digital work began as an experiment in blurring the line between digital collage and handmade collage. Marc also does brand identity, freelance packaging, and design and art commissions for various clients including institutes, galleries, websites and the boutique fashion industry. He has participated in solo shows and group shows in Washington DC, San Diego, New York, California, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco. His work has been published in numerous high profile art books and magazines and his work is held in private collections worldwide. Marc loves typography, design, colors and textures.
