Penny Feder Wall Art

Penny Feder (Born in 1949) was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is a graduate of C.E. Post College, New York where she received her Bachelor's degree in Art Education in 1971. She received her Masters Degree in Printmaking in 1975. Her wonderful play of movement, color, and pattern has always made her artwork to be unique. This is more so in her work in the woodcut media, monotype, etching and pastel. Penny's artwork has been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States, and she has won numerous accolades and awards. Her work is represented in a number of museums including the Museum Duren, Germany, the National Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and Smithsonian Institute. Penny has exhibited at the National Arts Club, New York, The Institute of Arts and Letters, New York, National Academy Galleries, Salmagundi Club, New York, Purdue University, Purdue, IN, Long Island University, Long Island, NY, Cultureel Centrum, Schoten, Belgium, and Saint John's College, Washington, DC.

She often does commissions for licensing designs and her work has been seen on TV in shows such as Sisters, Roseanne, In the House, Seaquest, Can't Hurry Love, Felicity, and Melrose Place. Penny currently works and lives in Brooklyn, New York. Her art are in several collections including Nynex Corporation, Long Island University, Holland American Lines International, Italian Leather Company New York and Italy, Cunard Lines International, Brooklyn Union Gas Co., Olympia Medical Center Seattle, U.S. State Department Washington, and Bristol-Meyers Squibb.
