Billy Jacobs Wall Art

Billy Jacobs is an American painter and a long time resident of Ohio. He started off as a woodcrafter and designer, working in the gift industry. During the 80s and 90s, he developed several products for the gift industry before switching from a woodcrafter to a painter in 2000s. He began his painting from a primitive and folky perspective, something that attracted many of his customers. In 2006, he changed his style from acrylics and focused more on watercolors. Although Jacobs covers several subjects, his paintings mainly capture the American countryside. Centering his paintings on American countryside saw his artwork become more famous. The traditional countrysides he paints provide some nostalgia, making them usable in both traditional and modern design environments.

Jacobs’ subjects and style have made his artworks some of the most sought after creative works. Because of the positive growth that he has realized since introducing American countryside to his works, he has now fully dedicated his time to painting landscapes and American countryside still images. He uses different mediums for his artworks to deliver the best in quality, depth and variety. He mainly paints outdoor scenes and farmhouse buildings that capture his attention. He runs a gallery in Navarre, Ohio, where he stocks thousands of his artwork, including primitive countryside things, buildings, animals, landscapes, and people. Jacobs’ gallery is an old tavern building built in 1840s. The tavern in which his new gallery is housed has attracted big names such as Ulysses S. Grant and William McKinley in the past.
