Allison Pearce (Born 1971) is a fine artist who was born in Iceland. She employs impressionist style in creating her artwork, although she also explores other styles. Allison makes her art pieces on canvas using oil paints. From a very young age, she started painting anything; from objects to her mother's walls. Allison was so passionate about painting that she could stop at nothing. She went ahead to study art at the Art Institute of Reykjavik. Armed with the knowledge and skills she garnered from her college education, she set out to become a professional painter. At some point, Allison moved from Iceland to settle in Toronto, Canada, where she's been working since. She creates her paintings from her home and distributes them through different channels, including galleries and shows. She incorporates both traditional methods and contemporary design techniques in creating her works, making her works timeless.
Allison's mastery of figures and proportionality make her paintings look real. Moreover, her deep understanding of the art of light, darks and color help her in properly displaying the right time and seasons. Allison isn't creating her artwork purely from imaginations, but instead carries out research in decor magazines to get new ideas for her works. Before settling down to work on any piece, she has to be inspired by something; whether from her pastime magazines or from the things around her. Allison's works have been widely distributed across the globe and are in a very high demand.
