Olga and Alexey Drozdov Wall Art

Olga and Alexey Drozdov are both artists who work and live in Moscow. They have been interested in art since early childhood. As a child, Drozdov was influenced by Pif-gadget Magazine and Mad Magazine. After finishing her professional training from college, she went on to the Moscow Pedagogical State University where she earned an art degree. Drozdov has been a member of the International Federation of Artists and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia since 2001. Olga on the other hand was greatly influenced by her father. Her father taught her about artists and also took her to museums to observe and learn from the works of other artists. Olga studied at the Kazan Art College of Feshina after which she went to the Moscow State Academy for 5 more years of training. Both Olga and Drozdov are inspired by the fantastic world of fairy tales.

They have illustrated children’s books together since 2000. Both of them are guided by their own 3 sons’ perceptions of the world. Working together gives them that synergy to produce high quality art. In fact their art are of higher quality than what they would produce when working separately. This is because they correct and learn from one another. Their work is a result of shared ideas. They make their art with the intention of bringing out the beauty in their subjects. They create a meditative, calm atmosphere through interplay of light and balanced design. The works of these two artists can be found in many galleries all over the world.
